Michael L. Inscore


Since 1984, Michael Inscore has been in private practice in state and federal courts in Ohio. Much of his practice involves litigation of personal injury, medical malpractice, insurance claim disputes and wrongful death cases. In general, he focuses on protecting and furthering the rights and interests of persons and families affected by serious and catastrophic medical conditions and injuries. He has lectured on the subject of medical negligence (malpractice) before the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and Richland County Bar Association.

Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree (Summa Cum Laude) as well as his law degree (with honors) from The Ohio State University. He is admitted to practice in all courts of the state of Ohio including the Ohio Supreme Court and the Ohio Court of Claims as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Michael Inscore is certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. In addition, he is a member of the Richland County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Ohio Association for Justice. Michael has experience in handling a broad range of cases involving traumatic injuries resulting from automobile and trucking collisions as well as injuries caused by falls or by animals (such as dog bites, dog attacks or escaped farm animals). He has successfully resolved through trial and settlement, medical negligence cases involving a variety of medical care fields including birth injury, failure to timely diagnose serious medical conditions (such as cancer and other diseases), surgical errors, medication errors, psychiatric treatment errors, nursing home injuries, local and metropolitan hospital negligence and wrongful death claims. His extensive experience in the preparation and settlement or trial of complex litigation has enabled him to achieve numerous verdicts and settlements in excess of a million dollars for victims of medical, hospital and nursing negligence and other harmful and wrongful conduct.

Michael Inscore has also successfully represented clients who had been wrongfully denied health, life and disability insurance benefits under group insurance and individual insurance plans and policies. In addition, he maintains a general civil litigation practice and is available to assist with contract matters, wills and estates.

Where banks and credit unions have wrongfully accepted checks with forged signatures or forged endorsements, Michael has successfully pursued claims on behalf of clients, whether they be individuals, a small business or a government agency.

Since 1981, Michael Inscore has been married to Susan Inscore, a registered nurse. Together, they are the parents of three adult children.
